Project Description

On Saturday, Bhadra 6, 2083 (August 22, 2026), a high-impact
humanitarian drive was successfully organized at Nakkhu
Chowk to commemorate World Brotherhood Day. Jointly
organized by Brahma Kumaris (Om Shanti) and the Rotary
Club of Sainbu Bhaisepati, the campaign was guided by the
sacred sentiment that "blood donation is the gift of life." The
initiative seamlessly integrated spiritual empowerment,
physical well-being, and social service into a unified
community event designed to save lives and foster local unity.
The program commenced promptly at 8:00 AM with strong
community engagement. Attendees participated in inspiring
sessions focused on selfless service, along with guided yoga
and meditation led by Om Shanti to encourage inner peace and
mental resilience. The cornerstone of the event, the Mega
Voluntary Blood Donation Drive, was executed seamlessly with
crucial medical and logistical support from Nepal Mediciti
Hospital.
The drive saw a total turnout of 147 presences, reflecting strong
support from participants, volunteers, and local organizers. Out
of the attendees, 70 generous individuals successfully donated
blood, resulting in a total collection of 70 pints of life-saving
blood for medical reserves. The collaboration between Om
Shanti, the Rotary Club of Sainbu Bhaisepati, and Nepal
Mediciti Hospital delivered a deeply impactful event that truly
embodied the spirit of human service and brotherhood.
